Originally from Chatham Township, New Jersey, Nannette is an actress, director and producer based in New York City. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English and is a member of Actors Equity Association. She has performed at theatres including the Public Theatre, LaMama Etc., Ensemble Studio Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop (NYC); Teatro Franco Parenti (Milan); Teatro Patologico (Rome); and in various films. She recently won Best Actress for Love Lives in a Void (Grand Jury Award, American Filmatic Arts Awards).

Nannette is also a comedy improviser and sketch writer. She is the founder and Artistic Director of​ the award-winning and nationally recognized Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble (IRTE). She also performs with comedy partner Graceann Dorse as one half of the comedy duo Double D, creating and producing original comedic live shows and films.​
